Though mylar balloons/foil balloons are more durable, to extend their lifespan for future repeat use, they should also be folded neatly and stored in a cool, dry, and shaded place, and avoid sharp objects, heat, and oily surfaces. Though foil balloons are not easily degraded by oil, the coating on the foil balloons can be dull or stick to dust if contaminated by oil.
